We want to equip you with the tools necessary to live a life worthy of your calling.

OUR TRACKS

People College offers two tracks to prepare you for ministry & leadership in the church and marketplace. With the SEU Track, you have the opportunity to gain hands on ministry training while earning an accredited degree through Southeastern University. You have the option to earn your Associates, Bachelors, or Masters. With the Leadership track you will gain hands on ministry training without the option to receive a degree.

People College is built on five foundational pillars

Ministry & Leadership

Practicum Placement and Proximity with leaders, helps aid the development of each intern. We will have teachings, coaching, and practicals dedicated to equipping you for leadership in the church and the marketplace. Each Oversight has developed a unique experience that will add value to the hands-on ministry training.

Discipleship

Discipleship is done through the leaders of People Church. Life moves at the speed of your relationships, and we believe that more is caught than is taught. The leaders in your lives help you grow spiritually and walk you through the four cups: salvation, deliverance, redemption, and praise.

The Standard is Jesus, and leaders will focus on the following with interns as a group and as individuals:

  • See Potential

  • Call With Vision

  • Walk & Challenge

  • Equip, Empower, and Release

In turn, you will also be equipped in discipleship and released to lead a grow group.

Christ Centered Community

We are intentional from the start with placing students in faith filled environments designed to strengthen their spiritual, personal, and professional development throughout their time at People College. We believe in going on the journey with people and growing together. Because of the Holy Spirit we are part of a unified and diverse body that brings dignity and honor to one another.

Koinonia, which also can be translated as "partnership", is a supernatural grace that causes Christians to love one another deeply. It was not possible before Pentecost because it is a manifestation of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Just as the Spirit's dunamis power enables us to heal the sick or work miracles, His koinonia knits our hearts and binds us together. After the outpouring of the Spirit in Acts 2, koinonia caused the early disciples to share their possesions unselfishly and to share meals often. Many people decided to become Christians when they witnessed this loving community. That’s what Pods are designed to aid or build; a partnership or fellowship. They are made up of guys and girls cohorts and led by a Pod Leader. During your time in People College, you will be placed in a Pod.

Spiritual Formation

We believe in championing the calling of each individual student by providing room for spiritual growth and discipline through devotion, prayer, fasting, and biblical application practices. Throughout People College we will focus on the process of being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. The focus of spiritual formation is the Holy Spirit and living a spirit led and spirit filled life, as well as a growing and deeper relationship with God.

Academics

We value being equipped to step into your God-given potential and your calling. Through Academics and the study of the Word, you will gain biblically sound knowledge, Gain tools to navigate difficult cultural and societal topics, and study the basics of theology, philosophy, and history that can be pivotal to ministry & leadership. We will spend ample time focusing on academics through the following categories:

  • Curriculum

  • Culture & Values
